Shaw Lane is Barnsley's Premier Venue for both Team Sports and Social Events.

Shaw Lane provides high quality facilities for recreation or other leisure time activities for everyone. Sports based at our 18 acre site include rugby, squash, cricket, archery, football, bowling and road running.

Shaw Lane is about more than just sport and includes conference and seminar facilities, function rooms and we are also licensed to hold Wedding Ceremonies. Our staff are available to ensure that your function runs smoothly from room bookings through planning and catering to ensuring that the big day itself goes without a hitch.

Becoming a member of Shaw Lane Sports Club or its associated clubs is easy. Simply complete a membership application form from the main reception or behind the bar; hand it back in when completed and you can receive your personalised membership card on the spot.
