After months of hard work, negotiations & planning Momentous Football Academy are pleased & proud to announce that we have now acquired & taken full control of the astroturf pitch at Shaw Lane Sports Club with immediate effect & are investing in a full relaying of a BRAND NEW 4G Pitch 
The new pitch will be ready by the end of October this year & will be the “official” home of Momentous Football Academy – Barnsley’s Premier Football Academy 
We believe the new surface will allow us to continue our aim to improve player’s football skills, physicality and mindset within our detailed coaching framework 
We aim to bridge the gap between the professional football academies and local grassroots football through our extensive and varied range of weekly group and 1:1 / Small Private Sessions for players aged 3 – 18 years, designed to nurture and develop young players allowing them to PLAY – LEARN – ENJOY – EXCEL in football 
We feel this new facility will help us massively in continuing to nurture the local talent in our area, it will also provide them with the newest & best 4G pitch in the town & help Shaw Lane Sports Club become the thriving sports hub of Barnsley!
